It was a good run, but Sylacauga unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 47-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central of Clay County Volunteers. The matchup marked the Aggies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sylacauga's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-3. As for Central of Clay County, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Sylacauga will head out on the road to face off against Briarwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
