Basketball Preview: Elmore County Panthers vs. Holtville Bulldogs
Elmore County is 9-1 against the Bulldogs since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Elmore County Panthers will be staying on the road to face off against the Holtville Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Elmore County was the victim of a tough 54-34 loss at the hands of the Tigers.
Meanwhile, Holtville suffered a rough 62-41 defeat at the hands of the Rebels on Tuesday. Holtville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elmore County's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Holtville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Elmore County came up short against the Bulldogs in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 60-53. Can Elmore County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
