Basketball Game Preview: Glencliff Colts vs. Lancaster Christian Academy Knights

The Glencliff Colts will take on the Lancaster Christian Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Glencliff will head into Tuesday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt an 86-36 loss at the hands of East Nashville Magnet.

Meanwhile, Lancaster Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 64-43 margin over Franklin Classical School. Lancaster Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Glencliff better keep an eye on Josh Whitt. He was instrumental in Lancaster Christian Academy's win, going 8 for 13 on his way to 22 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The matchup was Whitt's 14th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Bragg, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Lancaster Christian Academy's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Glencliff, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Glencliff's way against Lancaster Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, as Glencliff made off with a 57-33 win. Will Glencliff repeat their success, or does Lancaster Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
