Softball Recap: Spokane Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Spokane's offense. They came up short against the Pleasant Hope Pirates on Monday, falling 15-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Owls were not able to get on the board.

Spokane has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Pleasant Hope, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Spokane by a score of 14-0 later that day.
