Baseball Game Preview: Pipestone Arrows vs. Jackson County Central Huskies

Pipestone is 1-9 against Jackson County Central since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Arrows will square off against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Pipestone will be strutting in after a win while Jackson County Central will be coming in after a defeat.

Pipestone is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Windom by a score of 9-4 on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Arrows have beaten the Eagles on their field since April 27, 2018.

Meanwhile, Jackson County Central came up short against Luverne on Tuesday, falling 19-1. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson County Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pipestone, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Pipestone couldn't quite get it done against Jackson County Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-1. Can the Arrows avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
