Basketball Game Preview: Northridge Knights vs. Box Elder Bees

The Northridge Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Box Elder Bees at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northridge is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since January 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against Bountiful, falling 56-33. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the RedHawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Box Elder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Viewmont 61-28. The Bees were down 59-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Northridge suffered a grim 54-32 defeat to Box Elder in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Northridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
