Moore Haven won the last time they faced Southwest Florida Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Moore Haven Terriers had just enough and edged out the Southwest Florida Christian King's 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Terriers.

Preslynn Baker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Baker was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Baker wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Sergent, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Moore Haven now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southwest Florida Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Moore Haven will face off against Frostproof at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bishop Verot at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
