Basketball Recap: Umatilla Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Umatilla won the last time they faced McLoughlin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Umatilla Vikings enjoyed a cozy 67-50 win over the McLoughlin Pioneers. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Pioneers are ranked 191st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Umatilla has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. McLoughlin is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

As of now, neither Umatilla nor McLoughlin have any future games scheduled.
