After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lordsburg, Cloudcroft was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Capitan Tigers by a score of 40-29. This was payback for the Bears, who suffered a 44-30 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cloudcroft's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Capitan, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cloudcroft is set to challenge their familiar foe Mescalero Apache at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Capitan will face off against rival Lordsburg at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
