Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Evanston's Fifth in Last Six Outings

New Trier typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Evanston proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the New Trier Trevians by a score of 62-52. The Wildkits have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trevians, too.

Evanston is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for New Trier, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.

When Evanston and New Trier next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Evanston will face off against Benet Academy and their three-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, New Trier will try to stop McHenry's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
