Beaumont had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 10-3 to make it five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Citrus Valley Blackhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Citrus Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 2, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Despite the loss, Citrus Valley still got an impressive performance from Sophia Swogger, who had 21 digs and six assists. Swogger has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 25 times she's played.
