Balboa had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Galileo on Tuesday. The Buccaneers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lions an 18-0 shutout. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 12 runs or more this season.

Balboa's record now sits at 6-2. As for Galileo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Balboa will welcome Burton at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Galileo, they will host Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
