Basketball Recap: Michael Salisu Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lansdowne

Kenwood won the last time they faced Lansdowne and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Kenwood Bluebirds snuck past the Lansdowne Vikings with a 66-60 victory.

Kenwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Salisu out in front who went 7 for 8 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance gave Salisu a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darryl Giles Jr., who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 boards.

Kenwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Lansdowne, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Kenwood has already played their next matchup (against Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lansdowne has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Hereford.
