Volleyball Game Preview: Burroughs Burros vs. Sultana Sultans + How To Watch

The Burroughs Burros will challenge the Sultana Sultans at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Sultana took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Burroughs, who comes in off a win.

Sultana will be up against a hot Burroughs squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Burros came out on top against Serrano by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

While Burroughs might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Serrano scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Burroughs had a senior duo take command as Lillah O'Grady had 16 digs and four aces and Brooklynn Sizemore had ten digs. O'Grady is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Burroughs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Sultana unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Hesperia.

Sultana started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-11, 25-18, 25-17.

Sultana's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Burroughs, their win bumped their record up to 24-7.
