Volleyball Recap: Globe Tigers vs. Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets
Globe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2017.
Globe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Blue Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-16.
Globe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Casa Grande on the 12th. As for Blue Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Arizona Lutheran Academy on the 11th.
