Volleyball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Lesterville Bearcats
Valley lost against Lesterville back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Valley Vikings fell 3-1 to the Lesterville Bearcats. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-10, 25-14.
Defeat or not, Valley got some senior leadership from Carlie Loughary and Kyndra Civey. Loughary had 15 digs, while Civey had 11 digs. Loughary is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-18-3. As for Lesterville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9-1 record this season.
As of now, neither Valley nor Lesterville have any future games scheduled.
