North Medford unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Medford. North Medford has not had much luck with South Medford recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

North Medford might have lost, but man, Houston Klug was a machine: he scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Miguel Torres was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

North Medford struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Willamette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 72-16 loss at the hands of South Medford. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Willamette has scored all season.

North Medford's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14. Willamette's record is now 2-22.

North Medford strolled past Willamette when the teams last played back in January by a score of 61-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Medford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
