Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perkins-Tryon Demons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Demons this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Monday.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Perkins-Tryon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-10.

Coming up, Cleveland will challenge Cashion at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Perkins-Tryon, they will take on Wellston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
