Softball Recap: Salem Drops Season-High Score on Houston

Salem scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 26-21 to Houston. Salem was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Houston earlier this season, when they won 10-2.

Reagan DuBois made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Raven Gillam, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Salem's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Houston, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
