Softball Recap: Torres' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Torres can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the King City Mustangs on Tuesday. The Toros were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matchups prior), but the Mustangs' pitchers proved too tough.

The defeat snapped Torres' winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-14 record. As for King City, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-11.

Torres does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King City, they will take on Balboa at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Buccaneers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
