In Saturday's Canine Competition, Flagler Palm Coast came out on top. They rang in the new year with a 58-47 win over Deltona on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

New Smyrna Beach has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Jensen Beach. The match marked the Barracudas' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Smyrna Beach's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Flagler Palm Coast skirted past New Smyrna Beach 77-74 when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
