Basketball Recap: Fountain Inn Victorious

After losing to Greer the last time they met, Fountain Inn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fury came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 67-57 on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why Greer lost, don't look at Chase Littlefield. Despite the final result, he shot 78% from the field en route to 19 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ricky Hood III, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 13 points.

Fountain Inn now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Greer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fountain Inn will head out to challenge Mauldin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greer, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Powdersville at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
