Basketball Game Preview: Northwood-Kensett Vikings vs. Central Springs Panthers

Northwood-Kensett is 9-1 against Central Springs since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Northwood-Kensett Vikings will head out to square off against the Central Springs Panthers at 7:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Northwood-Kensett is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 20, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 78-50 loss at the hands of Osage.

Meanwhile, Central Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-46 to New Hampton.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 18-3. As for Central Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-19.

Everything came up roses for Northwood-Kensett against Central Springs in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 62-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northwood-Kensett since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
