Football Recap: Froid/Medicine Lake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Froid/Medicine Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Savage Warriors. The Redhawks lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 46-6 score last time.

Froid/Medicine Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Savage, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Froid/Medicine Lake will face off against Plevna at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Redhawks will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Savage, they will head out to face off against Absarokee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
