Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington lost against Delta Streets Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Washington Generals took a 48-30 bruising from the Delta Streets Academy Lions. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Delta Streets Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will head out to square off against St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Delta Streets Academy, they will square off against Greenville Christian at 10:20 a.m. on Friday.
