Jerzi Bierman Game Report: vs Mt. Zion

While Jerzi Bierman delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Effingham. Bierman went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. That home run was her first of the season.

Even though Bierman couldn't lead Effingham over Mt. Zion, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hearts have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
