Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Adam Tremper and Damiano Durinzi Lead Indio to Victory + How To Watch

Indio's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 27-16 win over the San Gorgonio Spartans. For the Rajahs, this counts as revenge for the 42-18 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

A big part of Indio's win came down to the chemistry between Damiano Durinzi and his top target Adam Tremper. Durinzi gained 119 total yards and three touchdowns while Tremper rushed for 84 yards.

Indio was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Indio's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for San Gorgonio, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indio will square off against West Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Gorgonio, they will head out to face off against Cathedral City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
