After only two runs in their last contest, Brandywine made sure to put some runs up on the board against Newark on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Yellowjackets 16-6. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten runs or more this season.

The victory got Brandywine back to even at 7-7. As for Newark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Brandywine will square off against Mount Pleasant at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Green Knights have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Newark, they will challenge Delcastle Technical at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
