Basketball Recap: Ludlow Takes a Loss

Ludlow has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 73-46 loss at the hands of the Scott Eagles on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 88-51 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2018.

Scott's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Clemons led the charge by going 6 of 11 en route to 14 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Hampton, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 16 points and eight boards.

Ludlow's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Scott, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ludlow Panthers take on the Calvary Christian Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scott, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Hardin at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in North Hardin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
