Roosevelt has gone a perfect 4-0 against Torres recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rough Riders will venture away from home to face off against the Toros at 3:30 p.m. Torres took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Roosevelt, who comes in off a win.

Roosevelt played against San Joaquin Memorial on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

On Wednesday, Torres came up short against Hoover and fell 8-4. The Toros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Torres' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-10. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Roosevelt skirted past Torres 5-4 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rough Riders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
