Softball Preview: Mt. Zion Bulldogs vs. Douglass Astros        
        
		
             Mt. Zion has been away from home for two games now, but  on Thursday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Douglass Astros  at 5:30  p.m. Mt. Zion is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 19  runs per game  this season.
 Mt. Zion is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Luella just ended the team's  six-game winning streak  on Tuesday. They came up short against  the Lions, falling  21-1. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Douglass never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against North Clayton last Thursday. They were the clear victor by  an  18-3 margin over the Eagles.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Mt. Zion  fell to 6-1. As for Douglass, their victory  ended  an  eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-4.
 Everything went Mt. Zion's way against Douglass in their previous meeting  back in August as Mt. Zion made off with  an  18-3 win. Does  Mt. Zion have another victory up their sleeve, or will Douglass turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
