Softball Recap: Southwick Regional Takes a Loss

Southwick Regional was the 14-2 winner over Chicopee when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Pacers on Tuesday, falling 18-4. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eleanor Rolandini made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Xena Berry was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Southwick Regional now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwick Regional will venture away from home to square off against Sabis International at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chicopee, they will head out to challenge Hoosac Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
