Volleyball Recap: Enfield Comes Up Short

Enfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bristol Central Rams. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in November of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Enfield lost, don't look at Sam Hart. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Anna Lor, who had ten digs.

Enfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bristol Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enfield will face off against Newington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bristol Central, they will take on RHAM at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
