Soccer Game Preview: Neenah vs. Menomonee Falls + Official Tickets

The Neenah Rockets will take on the Menomonee Falls Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Neenah is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: D.C. Everest, who was ranked 11th at the time (Neenah was ranked 13th). The Rockets lost 4-1 to the Evergreens on Saturday. The contest was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Neenah it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Menomonee Falls after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Waukesha North by a score of 2-1. Menomonee Falls haven't had much luck with Waukesha North recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Neenah fell to 12-1-3. As for Menomonee Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-3.

Everything went Neenah's way against Menomonee Falls when the teams last played back in August, as Neenah made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
