Softball Recap: Booker T. Washington Comes Up Short

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions, falling 14-5. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Booker T. Washington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lana Van Wyck, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Booker T. Washington has already played their next contest, a 14-4 loss against Baker on the 3rd. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-13 victory against Snook Christian Academy on the 3rd.
