Basketball Game Preview: Grove City Greyhounds vs. Hilliard Davidson Wildcats

The Grove City Greyhounds are taking a road trip to face off against the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Grove City came up short against Westerville Central and fell 63-52.

Grove City's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Demitri Adado, who posted 18 points, and Jacob Saxton, who earned 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Stickley, who had six points.

Meanwhile, Hilliard Davidson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Sunday as they fell 63-59 to Minford. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Grove City now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Hilliard Davidson, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Grove City strolled past Hilliard Davidson in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 61-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grove City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
