Softball Recap: Millikan Rams vs. Lakewood Lancers
After only one run in their last contest, Millikan made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lakewood on Tuesday. The Rams were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Lancers. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Lauren Cantwell tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Riley McAndrew was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Morgan Zimmerman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4.
Millikan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Millikan pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
