Softball Recap: Wissahickon Trojans vs. Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials        
        
		
            
 Wissahickon lost against Plymouth Whitemarsh back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Wissahickon Trojans fell  11-8 to the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials. Wissahickon has not had much luck with Plymouth Whitemarsh recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 For Plymouth Whitemarsh's part,  Madison Moran made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits (and only one walk). Moran was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Anna Powel was a standout: she scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Sam Skivo, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Wissahickon's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season.
 Wissahickon will head out on the road to  square off against  William Tennent at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Cheltenham at 3:30  p.m. Cheltenham is coming into the  contest with three straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Plymouth Whitemarsh will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
