Baseball Recap: Keys Gate Comes Up Short

Keys Gate was the 10-4 winner over Immaculata-La Salle when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 7-4 to the Royal Lions on Monday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keys Gate saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juan Oliva, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Luis Aguilar also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Keys Gate now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Immaculata-La Salle, their record now sits at 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Keys Gate will face off against Archbishop Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they will challenge Belen Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
