Franklin entered their tilt with North Henderson on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 68-25 win over the North Henderson Knights. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Knights are ranked 497th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Franklin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mckenna Plemmons led the charge by en route to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Baty, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Franklin pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points over those games. As for North Henderson, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-23.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-44 win against West Henderson on the 18th. North Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
