Basketball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier lost against Lancaster back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Frontier Falcons had to suffer through a 77-43 loss at the hands of the Lancaster Legends. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Madison Francis was her usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-9 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 34 points and 13 rebounds for Lancaster. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Francis has scored at least a third of Lancaster's points.

This is the second loss in a row for Frontier and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Lancaster, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Frontier will square off against Tonawanda at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lancaster has already played their next game (against Starpoint), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
