Softball Recap: Strawn Takes a Loss

If Strawn was feeling good fresh off their 24-6 takedown of Ranger last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greyhounds took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huckabay Indians on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Tuesday.

Strawn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Huckabay, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Strawn is set to challenge their familiar foe Graford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huckabay will square off against rival Lipan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
