Softball Recap: Braswell Takes a Loss

Braswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hebron Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in March.

Braswell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Hebron, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

When Braswell and Hebron next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Bengals will face off against Guyer and their eight-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hebron will try to stop Flower Mound's five-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 2.1, the Jaguars 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
