Volleyball Recap: Winslow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Winslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Ganado Hornets. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Winslow was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ganado work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 21-25, 28-26.

Tamia Haskie paced Winslow's offense, picking up 11 kills. Haskie got some help from Keira Barton and her 23 assists. Brielle Becenti controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Winslow's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Ganado, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Winslow and Ganado will both be playing Holbrook the next time they take the court. The Hornets will host the Roadrunners at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
