ConVal has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 4. They came up short against the Milford Spartans on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, ConVal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Milford are ranked second).

ConVal has now lost seven of their last eight games at home. That leaves them at a 1-9-1 record this season. As for Milford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal is set to square off against their familiar foe Coe-Brown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Milford will face off against their in-conference opponent Hollis-Brookline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
