Basketball Recap: Berean Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at 15 Games

Berean Academy had lost 15 straight headed into Tuesday's match, but Jeremiah Armstrong didn't let it get to 16. The Berean Academy Eagles walked away with a 55-44 victory over BASIS - Mesa on Tuesday thanks in part to Armstrong, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Berean Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for BASIS - Mesa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berean Academy will venture away from home to square off against James Madison Preparatory School at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for BASIS - Mesa, they will head out on the road to take on Tri-City Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
