Softball Recap: Creston Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Creston lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Knoxville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. Creston never let Knoxville get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Saturday. Considering Creston has won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Creston is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Knoxville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Creston and Knoxville will both be playing Dallas Center-Grimes the next time they take the field. Knoxville will host Dallas Center-Grimes at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Creston will play them later in the day, at 5:15 p.m.
