Basketball Recap: Drummond's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Drummond won the last time they faced Timberlake and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Drummond Bulldogs walked away with a 42-31 victory over the Timberlake Tigers. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Tigers are ranked 297th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Drummond's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Timberlake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Drummond will venture away from home to face off against Covington-Douglas at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Timberlake, they will host Leedey at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leedey has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
