On Tuesday, everything came up roses for the Salem Spartans against the Amherst County Lancers as the squad secured a 72-28 victory. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Lancers are ranked 355th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
