Watauga had won nine straight games and Caroline Childers did her part to make it ten on Tuesday. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Freedom Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Childers, who had 22 digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 17 times she's played.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Watauga took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-9.
